The PARTHENON of the Greek customs

In this special cutting of the Vasilopita, we may miss the taste and the physical contact, but all of us will be touched by the main meaning of cutting a VASILOPITA, which is EQUALITY, COMMUNICATION, HOSPITALITY, RESPECT, JUSTICE, UNITY, LOVE, HARMONY
With your registration, this unique GATHERING of Hellenism and Philhellenes everywhere becomes even greater, and you support the goals of the e-Vasilopita of Hellenism and Philhellenes worldwide, which are:

1.- To place, alongside the global COMMERCIAL Santa Claus, the global online e-Vasilopita of Hellenism and Philhellenes everywhere.

2.- To spread the beautiful message contained in the way the pieces used to be shared out in certain regions of Greece:
“…at noon, when they returned home from church, the head of the household would cut the Vasilopita and distribute the pieces as follows:
‘The first was for Christ and the Virgin Mary, the second for Saint Basil, the third for the House, then for the master of the house, the lady of the house, for work, the remaining ones for the members of the family, one for the animals, one for the crops, one for the visitor/guest and one for the poor.’”.» (έθιμα ΠΡΟΠΟΝΤΙΔΑ-ΒΙΘΥΝΙΑ – ΑΝ.
